PARTICIPANTS: 2012-2014 Graduates. The Team One Qualifier will consist of 40 high school baseball players to create the most effecient scouting environment.
THE OPPORTUNITY: The Team One Qualifier will be your chance to be evaluated by the Team One Baseball Staff including former and current college coaches, professional scouts, and former players. As an identified potential prospect for Team One, this showcase is an opportunity for the entire Team One staff to get an on-field evaluation of your fit as a potential Team One player.
SHOWCASE & GAME: All players will go through the 60-yard dash, batting practice, defensive workout, and play one showcase game. All baseball activities will take place on one field to maximize exposure to the Team One Scouting Staff.
THE FUTURE: All Team One Qualifier participants will be strongly considered for selection to a Team One Regional Showcase or the Under Armour All-America Game, powered by Baseball Factory. The inaugural Under Armour All-America Game was recently played at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois. The game was telecast live on ESPNU and was attended by over 90 MLB Scouting Directors, National Cross-checkers and Head Coaches from top college programs including UNC, LSU, Kentucky and Georgia Tech.
WHAT IS THE COST: The Team One Qualifier is $199. The cost includes a Team One Shirt, the qualifier which will consist of 60 yard dash, defensive workout, batting practice, and simulated game.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE QUALIFIER: Please bring appropriate baseball gear and attire. i.e. baseball pants, baseball hat, spikes or molded cleats, tennis shoes, glove, bat and any other equipment that is specific to your position. i.e. first baseman glove. Team One will provide drinks for the players. Aluminum or wooden bats ok.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Team One Qualifier fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds or store credit for future events will be issued should a player cancel.
