Ceasr Ferreiro | C/1B | R/R | 5'9/180 | Belen Jesuit (FL) 2009
Cesar is a young player with athletic actions and a strong frame.  Defense is Cesar's strength.  Behind the plate, Cesar has quick feet and a strong arm.  Gets rid of the ball quickly and throws are online with a pop time nearing the 2-second range.  Gets body down to block balls in the dirt and frames pitches well.  Offensive production should increase during next two years as swing is quick and compact.  Once he learns to drive the ball the other way, overall stock will increase.

Austin Maddox | RHP | R/R | 6'4/220 | Eagle View (FL) 2009
Austin is a tall athletic player with a great pitcher's body.  Mechanics are sound on the mound and shows the ability to utilize entire body.  Arm action is close to overhand and shows above average arm strength with FB touching 89 during game action.  CH is effective and shows a slow looping CB.  Austin has enormous potential and with work on tightening CB action, should draw a lot of coaches and scouts to his game during the next two years.

Alex Bergos | P/OF | L/L | 6/175 | Osceola (FL) 2008
Alex is a tall lefty with arm strength and solid mechanics.  FB is consistently in the mid 80's and shows an above average CH in the low 70's.  Will throw inside to hitters and mixes pitches well.  Can throw any pitch for a strike.  Keeps hitters off balance.  ¾ arm angle gives FB a tailing, sinking effect.  Arm action and strength are above average.  Extends after the pitch and finishes in a great balance position.  Alex is a talented pitcher with an idea of the game.

Kyle Webb | RHP | R/R | 5'11/180 | Providence (FL) 2009
Kyle is a tall lean pitcher with durability.  Threw in 3 straight games in back to back days.  Because of L ¾ arm angle, all pitches sink well.  Kyle is able to mix locations in and out to keep hitters off balance.  CH is effective and SL is late breaking.  Kyle is a pitcher that is not going to over power anyone but will get ground ball after ground ball.

Sean Pisarski | RHP/3B | L/R | 6'2/180 | St. Micahel's (ONT) 2008
Sean is a tall pitcher and although he can play two positions, pitching might be where he ends up in college.  FB velocities are not there yet, but the pitcher's body is.  As he grows and matures, velocities should improve.  On the mound, shows an effective CH and late breaking CB.  Mixes pitches and locations well.  Will throw inside to hitters and spots his FB accurately.  Mechanics are very sound on the mound.  Overall, Sean knows how to pitch.

Trevor Edwards | C | L/R | 6'1/190 | Taddle Creek (ONT) 2008
Trevor is a big strong catcher with great reflexes and arm strength.  Behind the dish, Trevor shows a strong arm and great transfer with pop times in the sub 2-second range.  Feet work well defensively and can get himself down to block any ball in the dirt.  Frames pitches well.  Has power at the plate.  Swing is quick and level as he creates a lot of carry behind the ball.  Will hit with power to all fields.  Trevor has the potential to play at the next level.

Clayton Hagler | C/INF | R/R | 6/175 | Martin County (FL) 2009
Clayton is a strong defender with above average defensive skills.  Frames pitches well and gets down quickly to block balls in the dirt.  Throws to second are nearing the sub 2-second range.  Footwork is quick and transfer is above average.  Throws down to second are very accurate.  Clayton shows a lot of power at the plate.  Swing is quick and hands are strong.  Stays back nicely and utilize lower half well.  Shows patience at the plate.  Overall, Clayton's defensive potential will draw coaches to watch him play and with work during the next two years, offensive stock will increase.

Joshua Ziemba | LHP/OF | L/L | 6/180 | Jensen Beach (FL) 2009
Josh is a solid lefty with great arm action and a tailing FB in the mid 80's.  Still young, Josh shows a tight late-breaking CB and an effective CH.  Mechanics and knowledge of the game are extremely sound.  Josh's ¾ arm angle allows for FB to move with a tailing and sinking action.  Josh is a good looking prospect.

Vinnie Contaldi | RHP | 6-1/205 | R/R | Jupiter (FL) HS 2009
Contaldi has square shoulders and good overall width on a large frame, giving him potential for added physical size and strength. While his present stuff isn't overly impressive, his feel for pitching is. He moved his 80-83 mph fastball around the zone for strikes, and did an especially good job of pitching inside. This made an otherwise fair 65-70 mph breaking ball effective. It had soft action, and generally lacked snap. However, his 73-74 mph changeup was a quality pitch – which he used both early in the count and off inside fastballs. His delivery was easy, balanced and repeatable and his arm worked well. Arm speed didn't stand out, but even so there is potential for improved future stuff based on the projection of future strength. If his stuff can catch up to his feel for pitching he has a chance to take off.

Jim Holton | C | 6-0/175 | R/R |  Cardinal Newman (FL) HS 2009
Holton is already and advanced defensive catcher. His movements and stances looked natural, allowing his glove and glove arm to move freely around the zone. As a result, he received pitches with soft and strong hands. His arm strength showed as well as near Major League average, and his release times between innings were consistently right around 2.0. He hit from somewhat of a crouched stance, and in general seemed to be a bit out of sequence. His hands appeared to drag behind his rotating body, causing his stroke to be a bit slashing. He has potential to hit - approach needs to simplify to allow him to more consistently work the barrel through the hitting zone. No matter how he hits, his value behind the plate is enough to make him a very attractive college prospect.

Michael Kelly | RHP | 6-2/175 | R/R |  West Boca (FL) HS 2010
Kelly is a long, lean right hander with some width in his shoulders. His low effort delivery was simple and balanced, allowing his arm to work well. The ball got out of his hand well, once again with low effort. Can be a little more explosive with his lower half as he develops, though his delivery will likely retain a fluid and easy look. Fastball was mostly 83-86 mph, topped out at 87 mph. Tended to be straight, and at times flat from his nearly overhand arm angle. Threw a slider type breaking ball at 72-74 mph with quality action at times. Threw strikes with both fastball and breaking ball, though he didn't really command the zone – something that he has plenty of time to develop further. Arm was not overly quick, but the combination of potential future strength and better lower half action allow for some projection on his future stuff.

Ricky Claudio | RHP | 6-0/190 | R/R | American (FL) HS 2009
Claudio has a high waist and wide shoulders – a great looking body with room for future physical strength. His delivery was inconsistent and lacked fluidity, not allowing his arm to work in synch with his body. In general, his stride was short and he tended to finish upright – not allowing for much extension out front. There was some quickness in his hand and wrist out front, but his present delivery does not allow that to work in his favor. His fastball was 80-84 mph and his breaking ball was mostly soft and rolling, indicative of a very wrist release without much finish. He is certainly a projection guy at this point, but one that has a few indicators of future potential as mentioned above. It certainly appears that he will get more physical as he matures, he has room to improve mechanically, and there is some quickness in his arm. Keep a close eye on this young right hander, there is better stuff lurking and waiting to be cultivated.
